Is there any easy way to go back to a basic SMF, and TP.  Aside from the blocks that I have put a ton of time into, I have installed too many mods that have modified too many files... and I feel like I need to go back to square 1.

Any suggestions?

You can uninstall all of your mods. Most times the uninstall will remove what the mod added to the files.

If it doesn't do everything by an uninstall, unzip all of the mod packages on your home computer and read what was added or changed by the mod. Fix it manually.

Or reinstall SMF and TP from scratch. If you want to keep your database, back it up first, then delete it, then install SMF, then restore the database from a backup. (SMF won't install if you already have tables in your database.)

Or just download a SMF 1.1.5 Large upgrade package and overwrite every file, don't upload upgrade.php and the 2 upgrade.sql files though.

TP Will be uninstalled, then you can re-install it. You won't loose any data if you don't delete its database entries/tables.

EDIT : Make sure to completely back-up your DB and Files just in case though.

I backed up the sql and the entire forum yesterday knowing that I needed to do some serious work.

The problem is I have almost 2000 members... and don't want this to last too long... ekkk!!!

If they love you and your site, they will be back in no time after you have done whats needed  :D

Yea - anyone know of any potential problems I will run into while doing this so I can try and prepare ahead of time.

I have already backed up everything, including all files and the sql.

I did what was suggested without any problems.  Thank everyone for their help.

I lost 1 block due to a script not being found on the load.php, but that's ok and understandable.  I can build it back.

Thanks again.
