SMF 1.1.8
TP v1.0 beta 3

It seems to work ok for Admins submitting articles from the admin panel. However, under Articles and Categories, there are no options to allow other membergroups permissions to submit Articles.

It doesn't seem to do anything if I give a membergroup permissions for:
1) Can submit HTML articles
2) Can submit BBC articles

I have tried with multiple test sites with lots of mods and bare minimum mods installed. Am I missing something?

The options are visible in the USERS block for your members, if you dont have the users block, they will not see the options to add articles, downloads etc as thats the spot they will have the "tools"

Is this the block that you see the info in?  Both of my upgrades must have not worked correctly.

What theme are you using? Have you checked the default theme?

Are you getting any errors in the log? If not, I would suggest you go through the manual install, and make sure all files have been replaced, and all edits have been done.

How about the permissions for the specific user or regular member. I have this set for able to submit article either html or bbc and it shows on the user info block as "submit html article and submit bbc article.

Petee

hrm, the submit articles link shows up only if I allow permissions to Upload Files. As soon as I deny that permission, the Submit Articles link disappears.

Typing in the URL to index.php?action=tpmod;sa=submitarticle still works.

If the Upload Files permission is denied, the link to Submit Articles just doesn't show up in the User block with the Upload Files permission denied.
