Is it possible to link/show a specific thread on the front page?

I have selected 3 boards to show threads on the front page automatically, but on another common board, there is a thread that I want to show on the front page for a period of time, and I do not want to show all other threads on that board there, and I do not want to move the thread.

Any idea?

If you do a little bit of searching i think you will find a way to get it the way you want.
This have been brought up a few times before.

If you can't find it, we might be able to help you write it. What exactly do you want? The whole topic? The most recent post to the topic? The first post to the topic? And what exactly do you want to display?

It really makes a difference in the coding.

Sometimes there is an interesting topic/discussion in the forum that I want to show on the front page. How can I do that? How to show that topic on the front page?

What you might consider doing is coding a loop statement to run through the DB and pull all the messages from a specified topic and show all the text. (If you don't know how to code, you might consider asking someone.)
If you just want to link to it, just create an article and link to it from there, and make sure you have it set to show on the frontpage. You can do this from the editor for the article.

We need you to be just slightly more descript. If you do, we can answer you question more fully.
