So here is the issue - we recently switched hosts from GoDaddy.com (not my choice!) to HostGator - this was my choice!

Anyhow, we had a few issues with file paths and whatnot, but I have sorted out 99.9% of those. Everything is working as it should except when I try to edit/create and HTML/BBC block. The main page loads fine, but in the space where i can actually edit the code (I usually edit only with the source portion) I am getting a 404 error only within that edit block.

I have not changed anything or added any mod except for the Pretty URLs mod. Before I switched hosts, everything was working fine with editing of the blocks. It seems to be a file path issue, but I am not sure how to fix it.

I searched all over the forums here for about 30 minutes and could not find anything related. Thanks in advance for any help.

TP and pretty URL are no go, you have to remove that mod or stop trying to use it inside the TP functions.

404 means the page you want to show are not there = wrong paths or simply missing

I was not aware of that. So far - that is the only thing that I have an issue with in using Pretty URLs and TP - so I am torn! I love both!

And as far as the 404, I figured that was what it was saying, but I am not sure what it is looking for to put there and if there is any way to fix it manually. I can edit any other type of block - it is just the HTML+BBC ones that I am having a problem with.

I will search the Mod forum to see how (or if it is possible) to stop using Pretty URLs in TP functions.

Ah HA! I figured it out myself. As usual, you were 100% correct. All I had to do was go into the Pretty URLs settings and disable rewriting for the actions and now I am able to edit the block appropriately! Thanks for the direction, I would have never figured it out otherwise.
