You should try to FTP the files in your Helios_multi_tp theme to your server. Do them 1 at a time, and refresh your website page to see if it changes.

Or could this be the Lycos host? When I go to a new page, the background color changes. See pic yuyaz4.jpg

You have several areas which are messed up.  Most of these look like the index.template.php background.  But this could have been the result of adding your logo to the header.   Or could this be the Lycos host?

Also what other mods do you use?

The two files you are looking for are titlebg.gif and catbg.gif. They are stored in the
helios_multi_tp/images/pod/*color folders.

They are called in the style.css as follows

These styles are called in many templates, including: MessageIndex.template.php ;
BoardIndex.template.php ; and Display.template.php.

Check your style.css 1st.
