Some people may know that one of my admins accidentally deleted my account :o But thats fixed :)
My posts are still there except now they show:
admin
Guest
under each post i made b4 it was deleted.

Is there someway I could make this guest post be a real post from me showing my avatar my email, my website, my im, my online status, etc.

Thanks.
Brianjw :D

This thread should have all the info you need.

Of course, had you searched SMF you would have found that out. ;)

They will have to register I'm afraid. You can however attribute all their posts back to them with a SQL command. When they reregister find out their ID_MEMBER and then run a query like this:

UPDATE smf_messages SET ID_MEMBER = *THEIR_ID_MEMBER_HERE* WHERE posterEmail = '*THEIR OLD EMAIL ADDRESS*'
But how do you run a query?

I got a message that said this:
UPDATE smf_messages SET ID_MEMBER =1 WHERE posterEmail = 'brianjw@verizon.net'
