Hi Moto, welcome to TinyPortal.

Try this link to see if it helps:

Hi Ken thats sorted the blank box out thank you,im not sure why but when i click on the forum link,it loads the forum under the portal???so the portal is there on the same page as the forum/?

What are your frontpage settings? There's a fundamental difference between the home and forum button for TinyPortal. The home button takes you to the TP frontpage depending on your settings. The forum button takes you to, the forum...

Moto

What setting do i look for to have the forum seperate to the portal??

IchBin

How about you take a look and see? I don't mean to be rude, but the frontpage settings are very clear. It will always be a frontpage unless you check the option to go to the forum.

Moto

I am looking as im posting this and i cant see the obvious??

Moto

I found out this problem is to do with being able to expand the header?
Im trying to have the blocks and articles on the portal home page only and not on the  forum  index?

Ken.

Please read the Posting Guidelines.html

Let us know what versions you are running and what theme you are using as you try to setup your SMF/TP forum.
... some custom themes require that you add a button for 'Home'

You need to take some time to explore your Admin controls... lots of great stuff in there. ;)
