Hey - I'm new

Hello Everyone,

I am Bug, as you all know from my username. I origionally found your neat 'TinyPortal' mod for SMF while browsing another site. I'm really going to enjoy using it. It looks really good from what I've seen so far. I've tried PHPNuke before and I didn't really like it. But TinyPortal seems to do the job quite well.

Anyway, a bit about myself. I'm from Australia. I'm what I guess you could call a web graphics designer. I have a job designing websites for www.e-info.com.au . I'm very good with graphics for websites. I'm a developer from the EFN Group ( www.anelectron.com/forum/ ) . EFN is a really great community always talking about the latest computer tech out there. We specialise in Windows OS.

I play a lot of music. I play guitar, drums, piano, bass guitar, electric. I'm currently writing a song.

Anyway, I really hope I enjoy using your 'TinyPortal'. It'll be a blast.

Well I would like to welcome you here, and I hope that you enjoy your stay with us. Ah, so it looks like another Nuke user bits the dust! Good, once you go SMF&TP you will never go back.
If I were you, I would really consider using this program over all others, I had went down the nuke road once, and it was such a pain in my butt that it took me over a few months to come to my senses, and believe me I have never been happier.

Support here is the greatest, and there are a lot of people who are willing to help as much as possible. You won’t see hard headed people here, and if you ask for help they won’t say to you, go look in the forum before asking any questions, however, there is help for everything you need or want to know, without the hassle. I am glad you made the change, and you took the right step in choosing SMF and TP, they are the best that I have ever seen, and what makes it so great is that it really works!!

Welcome Bug! You've chosen a great Portal. Bloc has really made the portal shine lately. He keeps adding option after option to this mod.

Glad to see a fellow drummer join the forums. I've been drumming since I was a kid.

I'm a former nuke user too. That bloated POS is long since forgotton by me.

Yes!! PHPNuke is really really confusing. The only other program I really love using is Mambo/Joomla. I must say, those guys did very well with that. It's such a great program. Doesn't really need TinyPortal though.

Hey I'm new too! (hmm... 'all new'? Well pretty much!)  Wow, cool graphic Crip.

Okay as a newbie, I've read here that TP gives you the ability to 'format' your website around a SMF/TP theme, but so far I've not found pages that tell me anything about that (hope it's okay to bring this up here.) Help please...
